• Born and raised in a small farming community of 2,000. Worked in both rural and urban areas.

• Moved to Howell County farm in 1996.
• Member of the Brandsville Church of God, N.R.A., A.O.P.A., Airborne Law Enforcement Association and Missouri Sheriff’s Association.
• President and Volunteer Fireman of the Brandsville Fire District.
• Civil War and WWII historian, unlimited outdoor activities, horses, flying, boating,   and motorcycling.

• 40+ years experience in Law Enforcement, entering the Ohio Highway Patrol at age 19,    moving through the ranks Retired from O.H.P. at the rank of “Captain.”
• Currently employed with the Howell County Sheriff’s Office at the rank of “Major,” Commander of the Patrol Division.
• Thousands of hours of accredited training through agencies including, but not limited to; F.B.I.,  D.E.A, Secret Service, U.S. Border Patrol, Navy Seals,  Ohio State University, University of N. Florida, Ohio Highway Patrol Academy, Missouri P.O.S.T.
