  Personal:

• Born and raised in a small farming community of 2,000. Worked in both rural and urban areas.

• Moved to Howell County farm in 1996.
• Member of the Brandsville Church of God, N.R.A., A.O.P.A., Airborne Law Enforcement Association and Missouri Sheriff’s Association.
• President and Volunteer Fireman of the Brandsville Fire District.
• Civil War and WWII historian, unlimited outdoor activities, horses, flying, boating, water skiing and motorcycling.

Professional:

• 40+ years experience in Law Enforcement, entering the Ohio Highway Patrol at age 19, moving through the ranks. Retired from O.H.P. at the rank of “Captain.”
• Currently employed with the Howell County Sheriff’s Office at the rank of “Major,” Commander of the Patrol Division.
• Thousands of hours of accredited training through agencies including, but not limited to; F.B.I.,  U.S. Department of Justice, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Department of Homeland Security, D.E.A, Secret Service, U.S. Border Patrol, Navy Seals, Ohio State University, University of N. Florida, Ohio Highway Patrol Academy, Missouri P.O.S.T.
